Our Mission & Approach

Mission: To foster good governance, promote human rights, and create safe spaces for children and the vulnerable while also helping to empower women to find their voices and become the best version of themselves.

Our initiative has been courageous in calling out governments across the Federal Republic of Nigeria to rise up to the demand of its people for good governance, accountability and the protection of children, women and the vulnerable. We have been at the forefront of seeking safe spaces for children and the elimination of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in Nigeria. In 2018, we led a coordinated protest across several cities in Nigeria over the serial acts of sexual violence by father and son for 5 years, which led to the death of Ochanya Elizabeth Ogbanje at the age of 13. This effort led to the arrest of one of the rapists, who is currently remanded in Makurdi Prisons as his trial goes on. We have led several other interventions through workshops, town hall meetings and newspapers and television interviews.

We engage an all-inclusive participatory communication and advocacy strategy through a Social Behavior Change Communication in seeking social justice, end to sexual and gender-based violence and the empowerment of women and the creation of safe spaces for children.

We invite you to take some time to watch some of our video clips and read some of our newspaper reports to learn more about our work and join us on the journey to impact humanity and make the world better than we met it.
